Join the B-GOOD Bzzzzz: Post-Doc Fellowship available within the H2020 project

The University of Coimbra opens a tender to award a fellow scholarship under the B-GOOD project, with the following characteristics:

1) Participate in data gathering on pollen and nectar production by dominant plant species and on phenological patterns according to the bibliography and databases of existing plant characteristics.
2) Contribute to phytosociological information on landscape elements mapped for Europe, identifying keystone species important for bees, and to the characterization of these floristic resources.
3) Participate in field missions to evaluate floristic resources in 2 landscape windows under the B-GOOD project.

The fellow will receive advanced training in research in pollination ecology and pollinator use of floral resources and spatial modeling (including attendance of advanced courses on the subject).

The duration of the scholarship is of 12 months and its potential recipients should hold PhDs in Biology, Plant Biodiversity, Botany, Ecology or related fields. 

Applications must be formalized by sending: Curriculum Vitae (including a copy of PhD certificate) and letter of motivation and any other relevant supporting documents. Candidates with foreign degrees must present Certificate of Recognition in accordance with applicable law.
