Recently, B-GOOD partner Dr. Alexis Beaurepaire of University of Bern was invited to speak about the project on the French television programme Forum. Forum is daily show on RTS TV that questions actors and players on high-priority themes of current common interest, opening the debate on the controversies that animate the political, cultural and economic life.

Alexis gave an overview of the project and its mission, the different partners and data collection taking place across different locations in Europe. The discussion revolved around the way the data from B-GOOD will feed the model to predict honey bee colony health statuses. Furthermore, he talked about the technologies developed within the sidelines of B-GOOD (i.e.. the LFDs for pesticide detection), as well as the beekeepers’ contributions to the project.
